To be successful as a fighter in Diablo 4, you must be excellent at crafting. All those gems you find during your adventures have a meaning, as they give your gear additional bonuses. How to upgrade Gems in Diablo IV

To unlock Jeweler in Kyovashad, you must complete a priority quest. You'll then be able to upgrade to chipped gems. For better quality gems, you'll have to level up your hero up to level 70 to get a chance to upgrade gems in Diablo IV fully. Those gems are:

What's the highest Gem upgrade in Diablo IV

The highest gem upgrade in Diablo 4 is the royal type of gem. That is the fifth level of gem upgrade, for which you need to reach level 60 with your character and gather the necessary resources. To reach level 60, you must complete the campaign and reach the end game. Only then can you upgrade your gems to royal level.

How to unlock Flawless and Royal Gems in Diablo IV

You must level up to at least level 50 to unlock Flawless and Royal gems. After you reach that threshold, you can upgrade gems to these levels by visiting Jeweler in safe zones. The good news is that you can remove gems from weapons, armor, and jewelry sockets. That means you can switch them to better gear whenever you like.
