Community favorites including parades, street festivals and firework showswill make a comeback around Ventura County for the Fourth of July weekend.

This year, July 4 falls on a Monday, prompting patriotic festivities to start duringthe days leading up to the holiday.Families and friends will have plenty of opportunities to getout and about to celebrate Independence Day.

Camarillo

9 p.m. Monday, July 4: The city's Park & Watch Fireworks Show is set forthe Camarillo Premium Outlets,740 Ventura Blvd. Free. Alive radio feed will be broadcast on 95.1 KBBY-FM. Parking is first come, first served. Fillmore

7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday: Fillmore Aquatics Center hostsFireworks Float Pool Partyat575 1st St. Free. Event isopen to the public on a first come, first serve basisuntil capacity is reached.No floaties are allowed. Guests can watch the city's fireworks display from the pool.

9 p.m. Sunday: The Fillmore fireworks show kicks off at the Fillmore Middle School athletic field at 532 A St. Free. Fireworks start atsundown from the field, which will not be open to the public. Residents can view from nearby locations.

9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday:The Sespe Creek Car Show returns to downtown after a two-year break due to the pandemic. Free. Car collectors from across the state showcaseover 400 vehicles along Central Avenue. Local vendors andorganizations will be present. Visitsespecreekevents.orgfor details.

Moorpark

4 p.m. Sunday: The 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza at Arroyo Vista Community Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. Ojai

7-10 a.m. Monday: The Lion's Club hosts a pancake breakfast at the Chaparral High School auditorium, 414 E. Ojai Ave. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids.

10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Monday:Channel Islands Harborhosts Fourth of July Family Parade. Free to watch and participate. Strollers, wagonsand walking shoes are recommended. Parade startsat Albacore Way heads north alongHarbor Boulevard and ends at Cabezone Circle.

2-4 p.m. Monday:The Fourth of July Electric Boat Parade motors its way around Channel Islands Harbor. Free. Paradeincludes more than 50 patriotic-themed electric boats cruising the harbor. Noon Saturday: The Star-Spangled Rock 'N Country Jam and fireworks celebrationkicks off at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, 5005 E. Los Angeles Ave. Event features live music, a fun zone for kids and vendors all day.Entry is free, but VIP passes including dinner and other perks are available. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday:The Fourth of July Street Festival and Annual Pushem-Pullem Parade are back this year. The parade starts on Main Street in front of Cemetery Memorial Park and continues into Downtown Ventura, leading into the street fair includingover 200 artisans, food booths, vendor displays and live music.
