Summary
- Ji-won gets revenge on her ex-husband and best friend in the Marry My Husband webtoon ending.
- Ji-won and Ji-hyuk end up together and start a family in the Marry My Husband webtoon.
- The webtoon's ending sees Ji-won leave U&K Food to start her own foundation to help children in need.
Marry My Husband’s webtoon ending concludes Ji-won’s quest for revenge and gives each of the story’s main characters what they deserve. Prime Video’s Marry My Husband K-drama is based on a webtoon of the same name by Sung So-jak. While there have been some differences between the show and the source material, the series has followed the webtoon relatively closely. Therefore, it is safe to say Marry My Husband’s finale will not differ much from what happens in the original story, which is good considering it is a great, consistent ending.
Marry My Husband will have 16 episodes in total, with the final two releasing on February 19 and February 20. Ji-won’s revenge against her husband and best friend is coming to an end, and everything she planned is working out. The Prime Video series combined time travel, romance, comedy, and drama in a great webtoon K-drama adaptation that made the most of its premise. While Marry My Husband episode 13 began with a tragic twist event following episode 12’s cliffhanger, the show's finale should be a happy one based on how the webtoon ends.
Ji-won Gets Her Revenge In The Marry My Husband Webtoon Ending
Min-hwan & Su-min have an awful life together
Min-wan and Su-min got married in Marry My Husband episode 11 because the former believed the latter was pregnant. While Su-min’s positive pregnancy test was fake, those rooting for Ji-won to get her revenge can rest assured based on what happens in the webtoon. Min-hwan and Su-min remain together, and they have an awful life as a married couple. Everything that Ji-won went through now happens to Su-min, who becomes the wife of a lazy, misogynist, and arrogant husband. Both characters also struggle financially and have no prospect of things getting better.
Ji-won’s revenge becomes even more complete considering that Min-hwan’s mother, Kim Ja-ok, gets a much worse daughter-in-law in Su-min. In the original Marry My Husband timeline, Ja-ok humiliated and mistreated Ji-won several times, always saying that the girl was not good enough for her son. Ja-ok saw herself as a replacement for Ji-won’s parents, yet she was just making her life worse. Ji-won’s revenge against Ja-ok was to give Min-hwan’s mother the worst possible daughter-in-law she could have – someone who didn't respect her at all. Ji-won escaped her fate and gave it to the ones who did her wrong.
Ji-won & Ji-hyuk End Up Together In The Marry My Husband Webtoon
Marry My Husband’s main couple works out in the end
Ji-won and Ji-hyuk are yet another example of a will-they-won’t-they couple in a romantic comedy series. While it was clear that they had feelings for each other from the start, it took a while before it became even possible for them to be together. Firstly, neither of them knew that the other was also a time traveler, meaning they could never be truly sincere when talking to each other. This changed at the end of Marry My Husband episode 6, during which Ji-won and Ji-hyuk accidentally revealed themselves as time travelers thanks to BTS songs.
Based on how the source material ends, Prime Video’s Marry My Husband should have a very happy ending too.
Since then, the romantic K-drama lead characters grew closer, as they were now the only people in the world who could understand what the other was going through. That said, it was still difficult for them to be together. Ji-won needed to become engaged to Min-wan for her plan to work, and Ji-hyuk was expected to marry into a powerful family as a business move orchestrated by his grandfather. Fortunately, assuming Marry My Husband will follow the webtoon’s ending, Ji-won and Ji-hyuk will make it work and will be together at the end.
Marry My Husband Main Cast | |
---|---|
Actor | Character |
Park Min-young | Kang Ji-won |
Na In-woo | Yoo Ji-hyuk |
Lee Yi-kyung | Park Min-hwan |

Not only do Ji-won and Ji-hyuk get married at the end of the Marry My Husband webtoon, but they also start a family. Ji-won and Ji-hyuk have twins, and after a couple of years, they adopt another child. This child was an orphan patient at a hospital that Ji-won was funding, and after seeing the little girl struggle during a complex treatment, Ji-won decided to adopt her. By the end of Marry My Husband webtoon, Ji-won and Ji-hyuk are married and have three children. Whether this same ending will happen in the K-drama adaptation remains to be seen.
Ji-Won Makes Sure Her Fate Is Not Transferred To Joo-ran
Joo-ran’s condition doesn't progress
One of the biggest Marry My Husband twists is that Ji-won accidentally transfers some of her fate to Joo-ran, her coworker. Joo-ran, who was also in an unhappy marriage, began to feel stomach aches just like Ji-won before the cancer diagnosis. As revealed in the previous episodes, Joo-ran was starting to get sick too and would have had the same fate as Ji-won. Fortunately, Ji-hyuk noticed it and was already ready to help her. The Marry My Husband webtoon confirms that Joo-ran’s treatment is successful, and she eventually divorces her toxic husband.
Hee-yeon & Eun-ho Get Married In The Marry My Husband Webtoon
Ji-won’s best friend also gets a happy ending
Ji-won’s best friend and ex-boyfriend get together at the end of the Marry My Husband webtoon. Hee-yeon has been at Ji-won’s side since the beginning of the show, and she gets a happy ending based on what happens in the source material. Additionally, Eun-ho, who used to like Ji-won but was fooled by Su-min, also finds love at the end. Hee-yeon and Eun-ho become a couple, a storyline that the show was already hinting at ever since Hee-yeon ate a pie cooked by Eun-ho. In the webtoon, they get married, and Hee-yeon travels the world as the company’s ambassador.
Ji-won Leaves U&K Food To Start Her Own Foundation
Ji-won decides to help other people in need
Ji-won’s professional life improves as much as her personal one at the end of Marry My Husband. The 2024 K-drama series already showed Ji-won becoming more and more important at U&K Food, especially after her latest project. She was even considered as the next possible general manager. However, the Marry My Husband webtoon reveals that Ji-won stops accepting her U&K Food promotion and eventually leaves the company to start her own – a foundation designed to help children in need.

At the end of it all, Ji-won realizes how lucky she is to have been given a second chance, which is why she decides to do the same thing for others. Ji-won’s company acts, for example, by funding children’s hospitals, allowing the patients to have the best possible treatment.
